81 rock bands ring in the New Year with a 10 hour rock extravaganza on CAN TV

Host Jerry Bryant “drives home” the safety message on the 20th annual
JBTV Don’t Drink and Drive Holiday Rock Special

(Chicago, IL) - Electric Touch, Head, MXPX and The Dandy Warhols are just a few of the bands joining Jerry Bryant on JBTV's Don't Drink and Drive Holiday Rock Special encouraging viewers to celebrate the holiday season responsibly. Making special guest appearances are Secretary of State Jesse White and Marti Belluschi of Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists.

In addition to the live studio performances and rare music video footage, host Jerry Bryant, will air a 20th anniversary video that chronicles the program's history in Chicago's rock and independent music scene, hallmarked by features of up and coming bands and interviews with the artists.

The JBTV Don't Drink and Drive special will air on cable channel CAN TV19:

Saturday 12-27-08 from Noon to 10:00 p.m.
Sunday 12-28-09 from Midnight to 6:00 a.m.
Thursday, New Year’s Day from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
