Cable subscribers expect equal treatment for public channels
Recent survey results show that over 85% of Chicago cable subscribers say it’s important that community channels are easy to find and record.
Subscribers also want community channels to have technical advancements equal to commercial channels.
AT&T's Channel 99 U-Verse PEG product fails to deliver what subscribers expect. On U-Verse, community access channels are hard to find, can't be recorded, aren't listed in its program guides, and have inferior functionality in comparison with commercial channels.

Research was completed by Group W. Communications, LLC in consultation with The Buske Group. Interviews were conducted by telephone from 9/23/2010 to 10/2/2010 with 400 randomly selected Chicago cable subscribers.
