Video Franchising - What's in It for the Public?

Produced by Chicago Access Network TV, this half-hour program examines the drive by the telephone industry to dismantle local video franchising. A panel of experts discuss the implications for consumers as well as the threats posed to local communities and cable access stations.

Hosted by Mara Tapp, the panel includes Anthony Riddle, Executive Director of the Alliance for Community Media, Joseph Bast, President of the Heartland Institute and Ben Scott, Policy Director of Free Press.

Thanks to the Steve Israelsky and the Princeton Server Group, the program is also available for download under "Video Franchising". It can be found at: http://psg2.princeton.edu/acm/index.html
