CAN TV Supporters Help Voter Registration Push
At an Open House on Sept. 27, CAN TV Board and staff, Chicago Aldermen, the Commissioner of the Dept. of Consumer Services, and representatives from all three cable companies came together to show Illinois legislators how Chicago residents and nonprofits use CAN TV to get their message out to a million cable viewers in Chicago. During the Open House, legislators appeared on live programming to encourage residents to register to vote.
